the fear factor

After a very brief middle class childhood that stressed independence and a strong work ethic, I immersed myself in the pursuit of the "American dream" over the rocky road of capitalism.

Working hard to produce more made sense to me in my youth, however finding out that earning more did not mean having more for your family didn't seem fair.

Looking for the answer, I finally understood that between the two evils of inflation and taxes (caused by and paid to the same entity) I was trapped. The gains I was hoping for became losses! I had less time for my family and not much more to show for our sacrifices.

Work more, produce more and pay more taxes, add inflation...?

I began to take on the part of the problem I felt I could do something about. TAXES!

Despite many attempts to address our politicians about my concerns, the government never heard my pleas for "redress of grievance'.

Soon I discovered I was not alone in my thinking, or in my actions. My rebellion took me many places where I met people from all walks of life, who felt the same way I did. In the face of daunting odds we continued our struggle to preserve our liberties. To not, translated into surrender!

To this very day, I continue working in my business as a Registered Principal and Financial Advisor for a Broker/Dealer firm (investments), which I founded in 1966.

I briefly touch on these facts in my book. I authored a montly investment broker-dealer newsletter for over 5 years entitled, "The Graham Letter'. My newsletter was more personal than the Wall Street Journal or Barron's. Through the years, I was quoted in many investment articles. I also hosted a radio-talk show called, 'Money Talks', in the Philadelphia area (50,000 Watts, WWDB.) My writing has been principally about finances and our money, and several self-published books on protesting taxes.
